Under Cloudgate

After a year of polishing the outside, the Cloudgate sculpture in Chicago's Millenium Park is still not finished. Once it's complete, there will be no seams visible between the stainless steel plates that make up this gleaming bean-shaped sculpture. In this picture of the paraboloid underside of the sculpture, you can see the matte seams that still exist. They will be polished and eliminated during the winter.

I'm pretty sure I am right at the top edge, about a third of the way across from the right side of the picture. I'm wearing a striped shirt. It's like Where's Waldo!

Update: I'm no longer in the photo, since I decided to use a tighter crop. Oh well.

Nice shot man! I have a few of these but like the way yours came out. Maybe I'll run into you out there someday.
