I pass by this beach every day on my way to work/school. Today I had an appointment with the dentist in the morning and was going to be late to work anyway, so I stopped here and took my first photos in several days; nearly froze my fingers off as well! The beach looks strange here because it's lined with frozen waves that lapped up on the sand but never quite made it back into the lake. The clouds I saw this morning certainly foreshadowed the weather today: lots of heavy snowfall.
