falcon tubes

Falcon Tubes

15 mL Falcon tubes on a tube rack in my lab at Northwestern University. We use these tubes to hold fractions from reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) purification of peptides.

It's very odd -- the 28 seems to really pop out from the rest of the picture. It almost looks like you photographed a picture of the tubes that had "28" written on it. Neat.

Well, I did focus on the 28 on purpose, since it was something that really stood out from the rest of the stuff in the frame. I think the shallow depth of field really made it pop out.

Thanks!
