Bucktown Lamp (ceci n'est pas une lampe)I snapped this photo (in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago) because it reminded me of Magritte. That is why I do not mind that it looks unnaturally blue, that the lamp looks painted in.
Incidentally, the Photoshop manipulations were: a layer mask over the lamp so that the curves adjustment used to deepen the sky didn't make the lamp look too dark. That's about it. [ October 11, 2005 ]
