I discovered on my way back to Chicago from Christmas break that a circular polarizer interacts in fun ways with the windows of an airplane. Apparently airplane windows themselves polarize light in some way, so that when light is run through both, strange colors result.

No color alterations were performed in photoshop in this photo.
